The aim of the fair
to encourage direct trade between the public and designer makers, all of whom focus on environmentally friendly production methods and/or ethical production principles.
The fair provides a much-needed specialised platform for sustainable design in The UK, regularly hosting events in London.
It was founded in 2004 by Louise Kamara, who regularly curates other design events including Vintage by Hemingway Festival, Barbican Centre’s Christmas Market and The Garden Museum Winter Fair.
All exhibitors are required to meet certain criteria, and need to incorporate environmentally friendly production methods in their work.
