Past Events

Events with the Barbican Centre

Open East Festival at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, August 2013. We organised a wonderful market area brimming with designers, crafters, fine artists and other downright creative people at this fabulous multi arts festival.

Duckie Christmas Market 2011. We held a huge, kooky marketplace run daily for three weeks to compliment Duckie Theatre’s show ‘Copyright Christmas’. Over 260 designers, traders, hoarders, car-booters and generally eccentric people selling their wares in the walkways of this iconic centre. A somewhat less outrageous but very tasteful Barbican Christmas Market followed in 2013.

Classic Car Boot Sale 2013/2014

We organised a cosy family of up-cyclists for this unique and splendid car boot, where vendors of vintage and recycled wares traded from classic cars.

Vintage at Goodwood 2010, Vintage at Southbank Centre 2011

The brainchild of Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway, a stunningly designed festival celebrating over six decades of British music, art, design, fashion and culture. We ran an Up-cycled marketplace alongside inspiring up-cycling workshops using Oxfam donated damaged clothing.
